What sizes do your patterns come in?
My patterns are written for a wide range of sizes. Depending on the design, anywhere from XS to 5XL, or in numeric sizes like 1 to 8. You'll find the exact size details and finished measurements on the relevant product page.
How do I find my correct size?
The best way is to compare your own measurements with the details on the pattern's product page. To do this, measure a garment that fits you well and compare it with the given finished measurements.
Material & Yarn
What yarn do I need?
For every pattern you'll find a precise yarn recommendation on the product page, including yardage, fiber content, and the amount needed.
Can I use a different yarn?
Yes, you can generally use a different yarn as long as it has a similar yardage and fiber content to the recommended yarn. It's best to knit a gauge swatch first to make sure you're getting the right stitch count.
PDF & Language
What languages are the patterns available in?
Depending on the design, my patterns are available in different languages. You can see which languages are offered for a specific pattern on the relevant product page.
Do I get a printed version or just the PDF file?
You receive only the PDF file as a download. A printed version isn't included, but you're of course welcome to print the PDF yourself.
What's included in my purchase?
With your purchase you receive a digital knitting pattern as a PDF file. Once your order is complete, you'll get an email with a download link you can use to download the pattern right away. Please note that the download link allows only a limited number of downloads. This is a purely digital product, so no yarn or other physical items are included.
How do I download my pattern?
After completing your purchase, you can download the pattern directly from the order confirmation page, and you'll also receive an email with a download link. Download the pattern and save it somewhere you can access it again later, since the link only allows a limited number of downloads. If you can't find the email, please also check your spam folder.
The download link isn't working, what can I do?
If the download link isn't working, please try the following first: open the link in a different browser or on another device, and check whether you've already reached the maximum number of downloads. If it still doesn't work, feel free to get in touch with me via Contact, ideally with your order number, and I'll take care of it as quickly as possible.

How should I understand the skill levels?
Every pattern is marked with a skill level that shows you which techniques are helpful for that particular design. You'll find the exact rating on the relevant product page.
What do I do if I get stuck while knitting?

Adjusting Your Gauge
What do I do if my gauge swatch doesn't match?
The stated needle size is only a guideline. If you have too many stitches over 10 cm / 4 in, switch to a larger needle. If you have too few stitches over 10 cm / 4 in, switch to a smaller needle. Wash and block your gauge swatch before measuring it.
