About the Pattern
The slipover is knitted seamlessly from top to bottom. First, stitches are cast on for the back yoke, which is knitted horizontally, shaping the back neckline with increases and decreases. Then, stitches for the back are picked up and knitted with increases for the armholes down to the underarm. This is followed by picking up stitches for the front pieces, shaping the neckline with increases, and working the armholes the same way as for the back. From the underarm, the body is knitted in rounds over all stitches. The hem, neckline, and armholes are finished with a rib pattern.
