Karla Cushion

About the pattern
The Karla Cushion is a quick project for knitters with some experience. It is knitted in stockinette stitch using the intarsia technique. There is both a rectangular and a trapezoidal version to fit different seating surfaces. The cushion is made with fine felting yarn, which is felted in the washing machine after knitting. If needed, an anti-slip mat can be sewn onto the underside.

Measurements
Square: 35 x 35 cm and 40 x 40 cm.
Trapezoidal: 34/40 x 40 cm and 37/43 x 37 cm.

Materials
For 1 Cushion: Fine felting yarn (50 g/100 m) in 2 different colors, 100 g of each color.
Knitting needle size 8.
Tapestry needle.
Anti-slip mat approx. 30 x 30 cm for all sizes.
Sewing thread and sewing needle.

Used Yarns
Green/Black: Supergarne "Filzwolle Nr.2"
Color A: Apple Green (Shade 15-70) and
Color B: Black (Shade 15-99).

Orange/Grey: Supergarne "Filzwolle Nr.2"
Color A: Polar (Shade 15-92) and
Color B: Orange (Shade 15-27).

Red/Pink: Schachenmayr "Wash + Filz it! Fine"
Color A: Pink (Shade 140) and
Color B: Red (Shade 119).

Gauge
Knitted: 11 stitches x 17 rows = 10 x 10 cm
Felted: 12.5 stitches x 22 rows = 10 x 10 cm
